Shinbi Lee, 14, is currently a freshman at Orange County School of the Arts. She started playing piano around kindergarten and has passed CM testing up to level 9 with State Honors every year. In 2023, Shinbi was a member of the student council for an online piano benefit concert, which was organized to raise funds for refugees and people in need from the Sudan crisis. She took part in this by presenting information on the crisis and playing pieces for the concert. Additionally, Shinbi loves creative writing, swimming, traveling, and reading books. She has won honorable mentions in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards for her writing and has been part of a competitive swim team for four years. Shinbi also has a fondness for animals, especially dogs, and took horseback riding lessons a while ago. When she has time, she has fun with her friends and family.
