Jonathan Suh is a junior violinist attending Arnold O. Beckman High School in Irvine. He has been studying since the age of 8 under Dr. Solim Shin. He has won top prizes in competitions such as MTAC VOCE (southern region), Southern Youth Music Festival, American Protégé International Competition, etc. He has performed in venues such as Carnegie Hall (New York), Disney Concert Hall (Los Angeles), and the Teatro Niccolini (Florence). He is currently a first violin in Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra. He has also been a part of other orchestras such as All-State and All-Southern. In addition he has been a part of JCM for 3 years as a honors member; last summer he received the opportunity to perform in Venice and Florence as a part of the JCM Honors Tour. He has also participated in numerous charity concerts raising funds to help tsunami and earthquake victims in Japan and underprivileged children. Outside of music, Jonathan is enthusiastic about learning Biology and Economics.
